Based in a C19th converted coach house in Brighton, British designer Chris Hawkins has created and innovated a jewellery range exclusively for men which has been inspired by bold shapes and textures from nature. The 'Stem' collection, which includes the stunning 'Blade' cufflinks, showcase the quality and technical ability of Hawkins.
The 'Blade' square links are constructed from solid 925 silver and are 1.5 wide by 1.5cm high. The front panel of the head sits at 1cm wide and 1.2cm high and is enlarged to the complete size by curved recesses which create an unusual curved shape.
The side panels have been oxidised and therefore darkened, outlining the cut of the silver and elegant design. These hinged cufflinks have been designed with a pivotal bracket connected to the back which houses the toggle bar. This bar can be rotated to a horizontal position in order to thread through a shirt cuff and then turned to a vertical position.
These 'Blade' links have been subtly challenged the classic cufflink design with a contemporary edge whilst still maintaining a traditional style. These stunning items come delivered within a premium black and white Aaron-Kane presentation box.
