PRODUCT SUMMARY
The 'Figure' men's cufflinks have been designed and created within a studio in York, by British jewellery designer, Iain Henderson. His IHD collection has been designed with ultimate quality and service in mind. Henderson has striven to produce pieces that can last a lifetime but the classic men's jewellery is balanced with modern techniques and style.
The cufflinks have been constructed from solid, 925 silver. The head of the 'Figure links measures 2.5cm long, 8mm wide and 2mm deep. The rectangular panel has been finished with parallel lines which gives the men's cufflinks a universal and streamlined appeal.
There has been an asymmetric design place on one end of the link's face. There are 2 indented lines running across the width of the silver head. 0.5mm deep lines have been highlighting with the use of oxidisation. This process blackens the silver. This feature offers masculine and angular finish.
The cufflinks thread through a cuff of a shirt using a toggle bar. This feature has also been designed in silver. The bar of the toggle pivots into a vertical position in to allow the wearer ease of use then pivot back into a horizontal position to fasten the links securely.
The surface of the silver has been designed using 2 finishes. The silver has first been brushed and given a matte effect. The second process uses a silver hammer which gently dimples the surface of the 926 silver to offer texture and alternative reflection.
