Winner of the 'New Generation Award' three times over, Mawi continually strive to create their original designs whilst still maintaining their true signature and quality pieces.
The 'Shield & Curb Chain' necklace is part of the brand new Mawi men's collection. The necklace has been constructed from 925 silver and has a 56cm length. In true Mawi style the chain has been finished with a slight oxidised surface to offer a vintage or antiqued effect, whereby the silver has a darkened tone. The chain fastens around the neck using a 1.5cm long lobster clasp.
There are 3 different components to this necklace. The first is the 5mm wide curb chain (7mm long Links) that structures the main length of the men's necklace. The chain is separated into 3 sections (13, 14 & 14cm) that are separated by the additional 2 components.
Sitting on both side of the necklace is the main and signature feature. Connected in between the sections of chain are 2 shields that are also finished in 925 silver. These shields have been adorned with a black crystal encrusted panel. It is this that completes the vintage feel to this fantastic piece. The shield measure 3cm long and 2cm long respectively.
Sat next to each shield is a segment of curb chain that is larger that the main length. The links measure 1.5cm in length and complete the masculine and slight military theme to this necklace.
